Staff extremely helpful. Felt like staying with family. Great location near church and market. Spacious rooms, no bunk beds. Good breakfast, wifi, amenities.
Nothing bad to say.

The attitude of the hotel owner was awful - we caught him spying on us twice!!! When it happened for the first time, and he saw that we saw him, he started yelling at us that this is his hostel and his rules, and he can do whatever he wants. After the second time we simply left. We have never in our lives left a hostel with such a feeling of disgust. Moreover, the hostel is situated in a street where people gather when the pubs are already closed, so the noise at 3 A.M. was unbearable. The breakfast consists of two boxes - one with cornflakes, one with bisquits, and milk. Not even coffee or tea.

We knew nothing of the Russafa Youth Hostel before arriving but it surpassed our wildest dreams. It is small but it has EVERYTHING that the TRAVELLER requires. The rooms and the bathrooms were above spotless - it is often said in jest "it was so clean I could have eaten off the floor" - this adage completely sums up the Russafa Youth Hostel - we have been in MANY places where we were hardly prepared to eat from the plates leave alone the floor. In ticking the 'excellent' box for the survey above we actually needed ANOTHER column which would have been beyond excellent. The crowning bonus was also Joseph who runs the hostel - he is an absolute delight. He clearly loves his city AND his youth hostel - we would without hesitation stay there again and again it was a huge bonus for a week's stay in Valencia.

The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and the city center within walking distance. The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful and provided us with insider tips on the best places to visit. Despite some minor inconveniences, like a noisy room and shared bathrooms that could have been cleaner, the overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this hostel for its value for money and the friendly atmosphere. I had a fabulous time and would certainly come back.

Everything is very simple, but enough for a couple of days for solotraveller. P. S. from my window there was just amazing view on the church and big-big palm, so spanish;)
I desliked that hostel's owner couldn't provide nor hairdryer neither iron (despite he's living in this building and definitely has them). All the other things were pretty satisfying.

This hostel was perfect. Great location, incredibly helpful owner, light and refreshing decorations and an excellent price. Only thing to consider is the weather as there is no aircon so I'd imagine it would be v warm in the height of summer but in June where we were there it was grand.

Great value for money, spacious and clean room, convenient location, and exceptional staff. The hosts, Joseph and Sebastian, were extremely helpful and provided useful tips for sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options, including free tea, coffee, and oranges. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals. a fantastic budget hostel experience and highly recommended.

Good location, the owner was jolly. Although the bathrooms were shared, they were always clean.
The room was a bit cold

Good location, clean bathrooms. great view from the window.
The light in the room did not work. alcohol is not allowed inside the hostal. there is no lift. The owner insisted that I leave my room key behind every time I left the hostal (just to go out for the day or to get a snack or whatever.)

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was really good, much better than your typical hostel fare. I also liked the location, it was very convenient and close to key attractions.
The building was a bit old and could use some repairs or upgrades. there was no fan or AC in the rooms, which could be uncomfortable during hotter weather.

Excellent location very near to center of city. It's a old church and market right next to the hostel. English speaking friendly reception guy. He helped us with couple of favors. Good wifi connection. Room is clean with painting on the walls. The building is old and nice. Nice painting on the walls. Small breakfast in the morning includes cornflakes, milk, cookies. Clean shared bathroom for two rooms
Small room is equpped only with bed, little tables and small wardrobe. Noise from a street. No ac or fan in the room. The hostel is still excellent for budget trips.

Well-situated, this hostel has incredible friendly atmosphere! Owner of Russafa hostel - Josep, makes living there the best way. Always positive and full of energy, this man keeps hostel warn and clean, serves breakfast with planty of choice, helps with any your wishes or ideas: maps, transport, directions, places to eat, spent day/ evening/ night. I lived in 3-bedroom along, like a princess! Every time coming back to hostel I was happy to relax in huge bathroom or my comfortable bed in a big sunny room. Big thanks for being in Russafa Youth Home for a couple of days, to fell in love with Valencia!! Cheers and kisses Alena

Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast (it's included!). Very clean bathrooms and bedrooms, nice kitchen. Superb location; good & cheap bar restaurants of different cuisines nearby. Lots of local pubs and late bar & niteclubs around with good music. The area is mostly frequented by the local valencian people; very little tourists around!
